Our Establishment service for original owners / developers, ensures the provision of prompt, professional and quality service so that there are no delays in the timely and accurate processing of documentation following registration of the strata or community title plan.
The Strata Schemes Management Act 1996 or Community Land Management Act 1989 confers certain duties and responsibilities upon the "Original Owners" of a scheme following registration of the plan and our services in this area include:
- establishment of the appropriate books and records
- assistance with arranging necessary statutory insurances
- advice with respect to the levies to be paid to the Administrative Fund
- completion of appropriate Certificates to allow settlement of units as required
- holding the Inaugural and First Annual General Meetings at the appropriate times
- general administration of the schemes affairs during the Initial Period.
